We ArE nOw CrAwLiNg!!!!

I like to drive Papaws Big Truck!

Showing off my pretty eyes and beautiful dimples!

Im an OshKosh Model! :)

Darren and I made it back Safely from our trip. We had a blast and definitely enjoyed being away for the weekend in the warm sun! :) It was a huge shock to come back to 50 degree weather and we are stocking up on the vitamin C in order to keep from getting sick!
We came back to a baby that I feel like has grown 6 inches and is a totally different baby. And we were only gone for 4 days!! Most importantly he learned how to crawl while we were gone. He finally put two and two (or four and four) together and figured out how to move his hands and knees together in order to get somewhere. Last night he was still a little slower at moving when we picked him up at my mom and dads, but when we got home, he was all over the place!! Last night he had already been into the fall decorations, the play station cable on the tv, and a basket under the table with Darren's remote controls in. (all of which have since been moved) Tonight our night will consist of baby proofing the house and cleaning the carpets. Every little tiny piece of anything ends up in his hands and his mouth so we will now be vacuming every night before he gets let loose on the floor! Bella was not sure at all what to do with him crawling now. It was quite funny to watch. She was just trying to lay on the floor with her bone (which happens to be Dillons favorite thing in the world) and he keep trying to chase her and grab the bone from her. She was pretty confused!
Not much else is new, just had to update that my little baby boy is growing up sooo fast! We are looking forward to seeing what the next couple months brings us with the holidays coming up. We are getting really excited about fall and Halloween and trick or treating coming up soon. I can't wait for all of the "first" holidays for Dillon. (I mean I can't wait for the fun, but I can definitely wait for him to be that big!!) Hoping to get more Fall pictures SOON. We will update when we get those!
Happy Fall Everyone!!

Family / Dillon Pictures

Our schedules finally slowed down for a second one Sunday afternoon for us and Dad to get together to take a couple pictures of our family and some of little mister. We were SO pleased with them, and Dillon was quite a trooper! With no nap and all, he was all smiles. (he learned to stick his tongue out that day as well, hence the picture with his tongue out! :) Dad is very talented (as you can see) and we are soo blessed to have him and his hobby!
We have been definitley keeping busy this last month. Not to many exciting things just everyday things that keep us away from doing other things, like updating the blog! (sorry) I have more pictures on our camera that we need to put on here as well as some videos to show too. Just cute little ones of Dillon being himself! :) We can't believe how big he is getting, and did I mention he is 7 MONTHS OLD now!! He is trying SO hard to crawl, hes almost there. He will get on his hands and knees and rock and rock and then gives up. Occasionally he will move his knee and arm forward but doesn't get far, and occasionally he will kind of army crawl to get to something he really wants. (which is usually Bella's dog bone) He is now saying "dada" quite a bit, and an occasional "mama" when he is tired and cranky! haha But its the cutest thing ever when he says it. Darren and I can both tell you the highlight of our day now has changed from seeing each other after a long day to seeing that precious little face light up when you walk in the room. Its the most heart warming thing that you could ever experience!
Besides Dillons new achievments nothing is too new with us. Darren and I are getting ready to go on a little weekend get-a-way in a week and we are excited about that. We are all excited about the fall coming soon and can't wait for all of the cookouts, pumpkins, and cooler weather. (and did i mention new wardrobes) :) We promise to get on more often to update sooner. More pictures and videos to come soon!

6 month update...and some new pics

He loves to play with his sports toy! Im just wainting on him to use that bat on his sissy (Bella) :)

We went birthday shopping for our Nephew Corbin, meanwhile we found some fun toys for Dillon to play on. As you can tell by his face, he LOVED it!!

Dillon and Bella! They are the best of friends!! Bella will come and get me everytime Dillon cries and she knows when he is sleeping and wants to go in there and check on him whenver she can. Its the cutest thing ever! I was worried about how she would act with him, but she is a perfect big sissy! :)

Waiting on Daddy to come home!

(they got a little out of order) This is him at Toy R Us again on a fourwheeler! He loved this one! I can't believe how big he looks in this picture!

This was at Babies R US, they have the cutest little cowboy outfits out now. Dillon loved the hat!
Well for the 6 month doctor report:
He weighs 6 lbs 12.5 oz and he is now 27.5 in long! For those of you that are wondering, he is in the 32 percentile for weight and 81 percentile for height! Which means by the looks of him now, he will be a tall skinny little boy! :) (we're hoping that height keeps increasing so we can have our lil professional basketball or football player) Dr. Emmick says he is growing great and looks perfect! He had to get a couple shots and the first series of his flu shot, but he was a trooper and did perfect! We're on to more baby food and somtime soon maybe even some snacks. We'll see how he does with those!

A little update...6 months old already!!

Dillon loved the piggies at the state fair. There was one that was running around and he couldnt quite figure out what it was. He loved watching them. I think he would have even loved sitting in there with them. We went out to the state fair this past weekend for a day. We were only there a couple hours becuase it got very very hot. Dillon did very well and loved looking at everything. He got a balloon and that was his favorite part of all.

Darren and I took Dillon out to Raccoon beach a couple weekends ago when it wasn't too hot out. He LOVED the beach! He loves to be outside and loves to watch people so he was perfect! As you can see in this picture, he can now sit up all by himself. He was a little wobbly at first, but he is really good at it now. Daddy keeps tyring to work on the crawling thing, but we're not getting far with it. (which is totally fine with mommy)

This is Dillon at the canal downtown Indy. I sat him in the flowerbed to take his picture, and He loved sitting down there. He loved it so much that he was taking leaves and shoving them in his mouth. Luckily we caught it in time and he didnt eat too much of one. He did get a little piece though, and he didnt think that was too tasty. This is one of my favorite pictures, he looks so grown up and precious. Hopefully we will get our photographer (papaw) together soon and head down to the canal in Indy for some more good pictures.
I can't believe my baby is 6 months old now! Its so hard to believe. People have told me from day 1 that it would fly by and to cherrish each moment. But oh my goodness they were right. I think it has gone way faster than I ever thought it would. I remember thinking, oh I can't wait until he is past the 3 month mark (because of the colic), but after that the time just kept flying by. Now Im saying, please slow down. He is sitting up all by himself now and rolling everywhere. He gets on his hands and we try to put him on his knees but he just doesn't get it yet. (which is fine by me) He is also eating solids now, he loves the fruit (applesauce especially) and does ok with the veggies, but the peas he will not eat at all!! (which i can't blame him, but i fed it to him anyway) It took him a while to get used to eating solids, but now he loves it and knows when he sees a spoon that its time to eat! :)
We will go to his 6 month check up on Friday. I can't wait to see how how much he weighs and how long he is. To me it looks like he has doubled his length, im sure thats not true, but he looks so long to me. Anyway, we will update after friday and let you know the numbers. Im sure we will have more pictures to post by then too! We are planning on another state fair trip on Saturday with Daddy, so there will be more pictures im sure!

Dillon absolutely loved the fair We found ourselves out there quite a bit more than we had planned, but how can you resist the Putnam County Fair?!?! I even got Darren out there a couple times with us. Dillon can't wait to grow up and enjoy the fun times with the 4-H fair!
